Welcome to the web-site of the Teesside Junior Football Alliance. A recent FA Charter Standard accredited League, it was formed in 1974 and is expanding year on year. The League is one of the biggest in the UK and Europe, with matches generally played on Sundays, beginning the second weekend in September (14th. 2008) and ending in May (3rd. 2009).
The League currently caters for players between the ages of 7 years and 18 years who compete in clearly defined Under 8 to Under 18 age groups. The current number of Teams applying stands at 562. There are likely to be 53 Divisions!

For our brand new web site design which is currently being worked on. More information, slicker, faster details and more "stats" for those of you who like to know things like "longest winning/losing" sequences, Team's "home" stats separate from "away" stats, breakdown by Clubs for their sub-Teams and a host of other stuff! There will also be the facility to put "Match Reports" on the League web site on a weekly basis. You will have to be from a member Team and also become a "Registered User" (not difficult!) > more details on that later!

It is hoped that the changes will be completed and working before the first Sunday in September.
Please note that the current site may be unavailable as the "switch" is made. This is likely to take a minimum of a couple of days, so don't worry if you can't "hit" the site. It shouldn't be "down" too long and you should allow a minimum of 5 days before contacting us (or panicking!) to see if the "perceived problem" is at your end!
